29th Annual Golf
Tournament
Thank you, Tony and Melinda Moiso and Matthew Donovan for our successful 29th Annual Golf Tournament at Rancho Mission Viejo’s Arroyo Trabuco Golf Club. We raised $102,000 net on this gorgeous day which included golf and an evening of dinner, bidding and supporting the single mothers in the Casa Teresa Program. This year’s gross winners were Shawn Branson, Father Joe Nettekoven, Dino Tellone and Bill Vosing and this year’s net winners were Don Keena, Jack Hunter, Brian Sperry, and John Van Rossem.

This year’s winning foursome was Eric McKay, Gary Bridge, Miles Acker, and Tommy Arnold.

Mother’s Day Brunch

reflect on that special relationship between a mother and her child. Lou and Diana Oddo and their family have been kind enough to put on a Mother’s Day Brunch for
our Moms. This special Mother’s Day is
one that will remain in our moms’ memories for many years.

Mother’s Day Baby Shower
With donations from Mater Dei High School’s girls volleyball
team,
Mariners
Church, and the Casa Teresa Central
and Founders Guilds, we were able to shower 14 of our current Casa Teresa
Moms with fantastic gifts to prepare for the upcoming arrivals of their
little ones. Complete with balloons, favors, games and cake, this shower
celebrated our Moms just in time for Mother’s Day. Each mom received a baby
bath kit, several items of clothing, baby toys, diapers, wipes, and a baby
bouncy seat, valued collectively a $150 per mom.

Wines of the World – Premium Wine Tasting Reception
Hosted by Young’s Market, First American Title Insurance
and Sage Restaurant, this reception was the ‘Kick Off’ event for Casa Teresa’s
28th Annual Golf Tournament. This wine
tasting was highlighted by a testimonial from one of our residents who
brought along her baby daughter. Her
experience at Casa Teresa is just one of hundreds of positive stories from our
current and former residents. This
event helped to raise awareness about our mission at Casa Teresa and generated
$57,500.

2nd Annual Recognition Dinner “Home with a
Heart”
Honoring Dr. James Pugh for his 29 years of loving service
to single mothers, Casa Teresa presented Pugh with a Lifetime Dedication
Award. This successful event raised
$98,000 for the programs at Casa Teresa.
