Rebecca Shares Her Story …When I came to Casa Teresa I was 20 years old, yet in many ways I was still a child. I was angry and immature with no future to offer my child. Today I am a student at Saddleback College, have my own car, apartment and a wonderful 2 year old son, Avery. While I was at Casa I learned many things about life, parenting and most importantly, unconditional love. The staff showed me what my responsibilities were to my child as well as to myself. Because of them, I have flourished and made a successful future for us. People compliment me on what a good mother I am and I just smile because I know if it hadn’t been for Casa Teresa I would not have been able to do it.
